Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam, and the skies are not cloudy all day.
Technically they are bison, and we get an average of 207 cloudy days each year, but we love it here on the Dutch Coast. This triangle of West Michigan spreading out from Grand Rapids is truly a slice of life.
If you’re lucky enough to roam the area you know this lakeshore of tulip blossoms, blueberries, breweries, and beaches is beautiful! The Dutch immigrants that settled here (on the greatest side of the Great Lakes) knew a good deal when they saw it. From them stemmed a place with a unique love for wooden shoes, pronto pups, bicycling, peanut paddle pops, musical fountains and welcomes anyone to its shores.
We value the lifestyle Lake Michigan provides. Some say we’re penny pinchers, but we just choose carefully what is worthwhile. That’s why we’ve chosen to live here, and celebrate here. Help show your pride for the Dutch Coast of West Michigan and care for it as well. For each sale we’ll donate 1% to the Land Conservancy of West Michigan.
